FOOTBALL.
The annual general meeting of the Foxtou Football Club is advertised to be held in the Council Chamber on Tuesday evening next at S o’clock. Business : To receive annual report and balancesheet, election of officers and general. It is hoped that all footballers and others interested in the game will make a point of attending. The Horowueuua Rugby Union’s annual meeting is to be held at Mauakau on Wednesday evening next. The Foxtou member of the management committee has protested against the meeting being held there on the ground that Eevin is the most central place and has asked that the place ol meeting be altered. The F'oxton Club is entitled to send hve delegates which will be elected at the annual meeting ol the Club on Tuesday night.
