FEILDING J.C. MEETING
The weather lor the concluding day of the Feilding Jockey Club’s autumn meeting on Tuesday was very unsatisfactory. Rain fell all day and the course was heavy. The racing on the whole was interesting, aud but for one or two spills everything went off as well as could be expected under such conditions. The growing popularity of the Marlborough Racing Club, aud the increase in stakes lor the autumn meeting, maße it probable that record entries will lie icceived by the secretary, L. Griffiths. Nominations close on Saturday night.
The two locally-owned huises The Rover and Lady Moutoa, have nomiualed lor the Thompson Handicap to be decided at the W.R.C. autumn mceiiug, on the 17th and 20th April. The former being allotted 7st. 61b., and the latter 6st. rolb.
