PICTURE SHOW
A few words descriptive oi Saturday’s pictures The star attiac* . the : 1 beautiinl mama, " Aiud L««g Syne.” This film is one thousand six hundred aud twenty-four feet long, from the world wide poet and song by Bobby Burns. " Paraging ” is one of the splendid Vitagraph dramas depicting an incident in the Boer War. “Captain Barnacles” is a drama in which a child is rescued Irom the sea and transforms Barnacles. “ Miser’s Heart ” is a very charming child drama where a miser discovers more than love of gold. “ The Last Word ” is a screamingly funny comic in which a woman even when drowning has the last word. “Ups and Downs,” a Vitagraph society comedy is one long laugh of the troubles of a newly-married couple. There is also a beautiful scenic film taken in Portugal, and a “ Gaumout Graphic,” a topical subject depicting recent events. The programme for Saturday night is one of the best, “ Auld Lang Syne” being a particularly beautiful subject aud deserving of special mention.
