BUSINESS NOTICES.
Additional entries are made to the Himatangi stock sale list. Two furnished rooms are advertised to let.
Millar and Giorgi, of Palmerston North, advise by replace advertisement, that they are at present making a poplin tie display—loose end and batswing ties, in the fashionable sweet pea colours. Edmund Osborne, P.C.D., of Palmerston North, draws attention to Golf Coats, which he is selling at from 30s to 455. The prices appear exceedingly moderate for the class of goods, and should be worth inspection. He also specialises in neckwear —in fact, he keeps a wellassorted stock of drapery and clothing, and invites inspection. Further particulars in connection with the clearing sale on account of Mr J. W. Williams, to be held at the farm, Nelson Road, Foxton, on Wednesday next, by Messrs Mounsey and Co., are advertised in this issue. All particulars in connection with the freehold property of 35 acres, which will also be submitted, can be obtained on application to Mr F. D. Whibley.
Now that the winter is approaching, it is wise to be in readiness with plenty of warm blankets. As a third of every average person’s life is spent in bed, it is as well to make that period comfortable. The blankets advertised by Messrs Collinson and Cunninghame, Ltd., on page three of this issue, will give all the warmth desired. Being at a very special price, they are worth ordering without delay, as the quantity is limited to 100 pairs.
