SHANNON HORTICULTURAL SHOW.
The Shannon Horticultural Show last week was opened by Mr J. A. Nash. Mayor of Palmerston. Mesdames Greig and Boyes, of Foxton, juuged the fancy work and decorations. The scholars of the local State school practically swept the board in the school work classes in which they competed. The following scholars were successful :
