Messrs Mounsey and Co. notify that their monthly auction sale will be held in Mr Nye’s yard on Monday next, at l p.m. Among the goods to be submitted under the hammer are 20 cases of first-grade peaches. Further entries are solicited.
Mr E. Healey, chemist and optician, notifies that he is prepared and fully competent to undertake the testing of eyesight and the correcting of any optical defect caused by eye-strain. Mr Healey also advises that he stocks all things a good drugstore ought to keep, and many things other drug stores don’t keep.
Messrs Ivess Bros., who have been carrying on business as boot importers in this town tor the last two years, have disposed of their shoe store to Messrs Retter Bros., late of Marton. The new firm are determined to cater tor all classes, and to stock only the best class ol footwear. Mr A. O. Reiter, who has been in charge of the repairingdepartment of the business lor some time past, needs no introduction at our hands, his workmanship being of a high standard. Civility, promptitude, and reosonable prices will be the motto of the new firm.
