The High Commissioner cabled to us at noon yesterday as follows : —The hemp market is quiet ; little doing, but good feeling prevails. New Zealand good lair spot, ss; fair, £2O 5s ; Manila, £2l 15s. Forward New Zealand good lair, ,£2l 10s ; fair, output, 33,000 bales. Stock of New Zealand, 401 tons.
