An advertiser wants to buy a bone cutter and shell cracker. An advertiser, at liberty during part of day, is prepared to undertake book-keeping work. A general meeting of the Manawatu Rowing Club is advertised to be held in the Racing Club’s Office on Friday evening at 8 o’clock. A meeting of the committee will be held the same evening at 7.30 o'clock. The attention of the ladies is drawn to the advertisement setting forth particulars of the Ladies’ Bag Competition at the Bowling Club’s Carnival. Quite an opportunity is afforded the fair sex of displaying their skill and good taste and becoming the possessor of a handsome pendant or a dainty embellishment lor the dressing table.
