BOROUGH TREASURER’S REPORT.
The following is the Borough Treasurer’s report on the finances of the borough for the past month, submitted at last night’s Council meeting : Since the last monthly meeting I have paid £336 7s 6d into the district fund account, and £3 10s into the cemetery account. The Bank balances stood this day as follows : District fund account, £614123 id; cemetery account, Beach road loan account, ,£1,242 gs, all at credit. Th ose of the separate accounts in credit are: General account, £4ll 12s 5d ; Reserves account, £8 13s yd ; gas loan account, ,£3l ; Town Hall account, ,£293 3s rod ; interest account, ,£323 14s id. The accounts overdrawn are: Library account, £ls is yd ; cemetery account, ,£5 5s 3d , sanitation account, £4 10s yd ; gas works, ,£764 13s ; Hall loan account. ,£163 5s id.
