BOWLING.
Yesterday afternoon, being fine, there was a fair attendance on both the croquet lawn and bowling green. Petrie (2) 35, defeated Speirs (1) ip, for the Stunell Trophy. For the Toms Ferns the holders Me-srs Spring, Whibley, Clemett Rimmer (s) defeated a challenging team, Messrs Walker, Hennessy, Munro and Harvey (8), by the narrow margin of one after a very interesting game.
Alteruoon tea was dispensed by ivlesdames G. Barber and CRobinson, and was much appreciated.
