ENTERTAINMENTS.

PICTURE SHOW

The programme for Saturday as advertised in another column will be found to contain a good series of subjects with plenty of variety. Perhaps the greatest attraction will be the drama “ Hamlet,” a long film of one thousand five hundred leet in length. This play is now being staged in New Zealand, and the reproduction of it on the screen will enable local residents to see the principal parts of the great play. Other dramas are “Rost Heir,” ”I,ust of Money” and ‘‘Hove Wing at Bast,” all good films well worth seeing. An industrial subject, ” Charcoal Burning in Brittany ” promises to be very interesting and instructive. The well-known ” Pathe Gazette, 136” will provide a series of recent events from all parts of the world. A scenic picture, “ Bogging in Sweden ” is full of beautiful views of that country. “ The Cinematograph in Africa” is a very novel and interesting film, showing how the pictures are taken. The comic element is well to the lore, containing many mirtu raising and exciting items, “ Poolshead’s Three Brothers,” “ P. C. Hawke Byes Busy Day,” and ‘‘ Drowsy Dick’s Dream ” will provide ail the fun that anyone could wish tor. An ideal evening’s amusement at a very small cost.
