CRICKET.

The match between Awahou and Foxton, played on the Park pitch on Saturday afternoon was a particularly interesting one, resulting in a win for Awahou by the narrow margin of eleven runs. Neither side were represented by their full strength, and in this connection Foxton was worse off than their opponents, being only able to muster nine men. Awahou batted first, and knocked up 79, of which number Redgrave contributed 54.
