PICTURE SHOW
To-morrow night there will be screened a splendid range of films at the Coronation Town Hall. “ Blue Horse Mine ” drama shows how an Indian repays a white man tor kindness shown to him by winning for the white man a large sum of money of which he is greatly in need. The star picture is a wonderful representation of the great “Deluge” showing the earth covered with water, and Noah and his family in the Ark; the animals are seen going in two by two, the great expanse of water covering everything. You see the Dove leave the Ark and return with the olive branch, the waters subside and the people leave the Ark and the glorious rain-bow of promise appears. This is a really striking picture. Other good dramas are “The Changing of Silas Warner” and “Across the Plains, a fine western drama, intensely interesting. “ The Pathe Gazette ” is a series of recent events clearly shown. The “ Automatic Motorist” is one of the cleverest and funniest things ever shown, how a runaway motor visits the moon, circles round and pops in, you see the people in the moon. This is a very pretty coloured transformation scene ; next the motor visits the sea and you see the fishes swimming in and out of the car. “The Culture of Bulbous Flowers ” is most interesting and educating, showing planting, potting and growth. “ Bill Determines to Go ” is real good, Bill in the musical instrument is indescribable. See it.
