ENTERTAINMENTS.

■ PICTURE SHOW. Again on Saturday night there will be an excellent programme screened at the Coronation Town Hall. A thrilling Indian drama entitled “Slim Jim’s Last Chance” is one of the best films of the evening, “The Governor’s Daughter,” is a very interesting film clearly depicted, “The Open Road‘” is another drama of more than usual merit. The scenics are particularly fine including some “Marine Views of Naples,” with glorious water effects, and some beautiful views of‘‘Subiaco.” The Australian Gazette “ Our Army in the Making,” showing the enrolling, drilling, etc., should attract a good deal of attention. The comedies and comics are real good. “Bertie’s Bandit” is very funny, but the best of all will be “Two Girls in Love with Foolshead,” you should not miss this film, the tricks and dodges of the girls are enough to make a graven image laugh. Another subject of intense interest and full of excitement from beginning to end is “The Open Road.” The splendid houses that the Municipal Pictures are drawing Hand to show the excellence of the subjects shown, the general opinion is, equal to any, better than most.
