THE KIWITEA SENSATION.

SEARCH FOR ASSAILANT CONTINUES.

There are no fresh developments in the Kiwitea assault case. The police are still searching for Mrs Kernahan’s assailant. Mr Kilgour denies any inference that time was lost in going to the rescue. He states that, having secured arras and the necessary assistance, he was on the scene within four minutes of the alarm. The condition of Mrs Kernaban, who is still in a private hospital in Feilding, is gradually improving.
