Expenditure, 1911 and 1910: Permanent appropriations, £l,314,4x7 and £1,263,859 ; annual appropriations, £1,615,921 and £1,468,349; tranterred to public works fund, ,£250,000 and £IOO,000; balance at end of quarter, £763,973 and £408,940 ; totals, £3,944,313 and £3,241,149-
