AUSTRALIAN OPINIONS.

Sydney, Jan. 17. At a meeting of the Council of the New South Wales Alliance delegates who participated in the New Zealand prohibition campaign, detailed their impressions. One stated that the most powerful factor in the cause of prohibition was the enthusiastic support of the Labour party. Rev R. B. S. Hammond declared that having been in every ' No-license area in the Dominion,, he was more than ever convinced ot the value and effectiveness of No-license. He reasserted that he never said anything which warranted Archbishop Redwood in using his name in connection with the use of wint for sacramental purposes.
