On Thursday afternoon for the Stiles’ trophy, singles, Mr Hamer 6 hdep. defeated D. Green 7 hdep. after a well contested game by one point, the scores being 27 aud 26. For the Stunnell trophy, singles, Mr Geo. Barber (2) deleated Mr Witchell (scr) by 24 to 16'. Yesterday afternoon, for the Hennessy trophy pairs, Messrs Spring and Clemett (1) defeated Messrs Barber and Witchell (2) by 22 to 19. This game was very exciting and was only decided on the last head.
