BOROUGH TREASURER’S REPORT.

The following report of the borough finances was presented

by the Borough Treasurer at Monday night’s meeting of the Foxtou Borough Council ; “ Siuce the last monthly meeting there has beeu paid iuto the district fund ,£1,141 16s sd, including Government subsidy on Town Hall of £250. The Bank balances this day were : District fund account £586 ns 6d, cemetery account £l4 6s 3d, and Beach road loan account £1242 9s, all at credit. ■'Of the vaiious sepaiate accounts those in credit are ; General account £446 25 9d, library account £9 us sd, reserves account, £l4 us id, cemetery account £l4 ns 5<J, sanitation account £Sq 15s 3d, gas works loan account £275 2s 2d, Town Hall account £BB 2s Bd, interest account £390 2s Sd. The overdrawn accounts are: Gas works account £864 3s 6d, Town Hall loan account £6l iSs.”
