DEATH OF AN INFANT
Dijnkdxn, Nov. 24. A child was born to Mary Harriet Maxwell, a housekeeper, early yesterday morning, and died through suffocation caused by the cord constricting the neck. The woman had concealed her condition, and her statement was that she did not expect the birth so soon, and therefore had not procured assistance. The inquest was adjourned pending recovery of the woman.
