Auckland. November 11. In the Supreme Court to-day, before Mr Justice Edwards, horrible details were disclosed in charges against Charles William Robinson, a native school teacher and an ordained clergyman, aged about thirty-five, who pleaded guilty to sixteen charges of indecent assault. The judge said these crimes extended over a period of six years. It was his duty to see that prisoner was not allowed at large again without the sanction of those whose duty it is to say whether such a criminal should be at large during his lifetime. He imposed a sentence of ten years on each charge, the terms to lie concurrent, and he declared accused an habitual criminal. iu the Supieiue Court to-day Mr Justice Edwards sentenced Harold Jenny Weston to twelve months’ imprisonment for indecently assaulting a child at Gisborne. Dunedin, Nov. ir. John Dunsler, aged 63 years, who lived aluiie in Melbourne street, South Dunedin, was found dead in bed this morning. He suffered from heart disease, and recently from apoplexy also.
