ALLEGED WHOLESALE POISONING.
New York, November n. At Chicago, a woman, Mrs Vermilya, has been arrested on a charge ot murder —poisoning a policeman with arsenic. The accused attempted suicide, but is recovering in hospital. It is alleged that she killed twelve other persons by means of poison - The motive of the crimes is unknown.
