TREASURER’S REPORT.
The Borough Treasurer reported as follows on the finances of the borough at last night’s Council meeting : “ 1 beg to report having paid into the district fund account the sum of ,£1,244 18s since the last monthly meeting. The bank balances this day were: District fund account, ,£427 Ss 3d; cemetery account, ,£l4 6s 3d; gas works loan account, ,£293 4s id ; and Town Hall loan account, ,£26 2s 4d ; and Beach road loan account, £1242 ys, all at credit. Ihe separate accounts in credit are: General account, £165 3s 8d ; library account, £l3 6s xos ; cemetery account, £l4 ns 3d ; Town Hall account, £54 5s 6d ; interest account, £259 17s 3d ; gas loan account, £722 12s 2d; Beach Road loan account, £1242 ys. Those overdrawn are: Reserves account, £8 13s 3d ; gas works account, .9789 14s ; sanitation account, £ls 6s ; Town Hall loan account, £37 17s 6d. Excluding interest and loan accounts, the accounts overdrawn exceed those in credit by £566 4s tod. Summonses are now being issued for all unpaid rates.’ ’
