THE PARISIAN WINS BY TWO LENGTHS. Mki.houknk, Nov. 7. The Melbourne Cup, a handicap sweepstake of 30 sovs. each, with 7000 sovs. added, and a trophyvalue too sovs., was run at Flemiugtou to-day. The weather was hot and there was a record attendance. When the Cup horses appeared the hillsides were black with spectators and thousands had no hope of seeing the race.
