POLITICAL

Mr C. A. W. Mouckton, Reform candidate for Otaki, spoke at Tokomaru on Wednesday night. His speech was ou the same lines as his Otaki address, and the majority of the eighty odd people present evidently sympathised with the views he expounded, as he frequently received continued applause. He was asked many questions, which he answered to the satisfaction of his audieuce. The meeting closed with the usual votes, which were carried unanimously.
