What looks like a case of poisoning is reported from Waitaki. Three men were taken suddenly ill, aud one, William Schluter, the sou of a well-known North Otago resident, has since died iu the hospital. Particulars are meagre. The names of the others are G. Rusbatch aud A. Smart.
