A LABOUR VICTORY
Perth, Oct. 5. The final results of the Slate election are as follows : Labour ... 31 Ministerial ... 15 Independent ... 4 Premier Wilson has resigned, and Mr Scaddou, Leader of the Labour Party, has been sent for. Tne Labour caucus elects a Cabinet on Saturday. Perth, Oct. 6. Mr Hanson, Attorney-General, retained bis seat by a majority of 3iMelbourne, Oct. 6. In the Senate, attention was drawn to the circulation of treasonable literature regarding compulsory training. Senator Pearce said it was better to treat such circulars with contemptuous indifference in view ol the overwhelming public opinion in favour of the present law.
A new .Electoral Bill was introduced in the House, and definitely fixes Saturday as polling day. A Bill was mtrovluced providing that no member of the army or navy may dispose oi decorations conferred on him.
