HEMP MARKET
The High Commissioner cabled to us at noon yesterday as follows : —Hemp market continues dull, no change* in prices ; Manila output, 25,000 bales.
WOOL SALES
London, October 1
At the wool sales 48,747 bales were offered and 42,214 were sold. Comp-td' •' animated, but prices wcic aucuauged. The following were the prices realised for the fleece portion of the clips named : Beuopoi, top ltd, average io->ad ; Puugataua, and 8-> K d; Aparima, 10M and pid ; L,ochtay 22M and 2 id.
