Of course, the party whom the guard represented won —the poor scrutineer was kept in his prison for three hours. Everyone came with revolvers or knives, and the police were armed with loaded mausers. As it was one policeman let his gun off by accident, aud shot his male dead, and a cnap chopped another’s hand off at the wild wua a kune.' LET IT BE KNOWN. The widest publicity should be given to the fact that summer diarrhoea and dysentery can be cured by the judicious use of Chamberlain’s Coiic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy. It never fails. When reduced with water and sweetened it is pleasant to take, which is important when the medicine must be given to small children. For sale everywhere. —Advt.
