CAUSE OF CANCERS.
Eokdon, July 21. Sir William Church, president of the Royal Society of Medicine, at a meeting of the Imperial Research Fund, said that cancer was not catching, but was caused by chronic irritation of any particular part of the body. In a considerable number of cases the spontaneous malignant growth observed in mice and men could be cured by recent discoveries in medicine.
