BOROUGH TREASURER’S REPORT.
The Borough Treasurer submitted the following report on the borough finances at the meeting of the Borough Council last night:— “ The amount of .£324 3s 5s has been paid into the district fund account, ,£l2 los to cemetery account, and .£2,821 10s into Town Hall loan account since the last monthly meeting of the Council. The bank balances to-day were: District fund account, ,£345 Ss 2d overdrawn; Town Hall loan account £1,871 13s 4d, gas works loan account £316 3s 3d, and cemetery account £l3 8s 3d in credit. The following separate accounts are in credit ; Town Hall loan account, ,£1,852 15s 8d ; gas works loan account, ,£SOO 10s ; interest account, £9O 19s 7d ; cemetery account, ns sd. The accounts overdrawn are : General account, ,£495 8s 6d ; library account, ,£3 10s 1 id; reserves account, ,£l9 2s 2d ; sanitation account, ,£122 9s yd ; gas works account, ,£332 16s Bd.”
