HAWERA, July 5.

Tile Governor arrived last night to open the Dominion Winter Show, and to-day he was present at a lecture given by non. T. Mackenzie. BUTTER AWARDS.

Class 1., factory butter. —Bell Block, 94 ; Meremcre. 93j ; Levin, 93. Beli Block won the Taranaki championship with 94, Stratford 93i, Mcremero OSClass Jll.. for factory butter, was wen by BunnytUorpe, 93i; Stratford, Balluncc, Cheltenham and Levin were next, cacti with 93i. Brizes will bu adjusted accordingly. In the special class suitable for export, the prize was awarded to Kaponga, 92, Ballance second 91g. Bihama, £1„ was the only other competitor.
