BOROUGH FINANCES.
The following is the report submitted by the Borough Treasurer at last night’s Council meeting I have the honour to report that I have paid into the district fund account the sum of ,£l3O ns gd since the last monthly meeting. The Bank balances this day were : District fund account, 16s yd overdrawn ; cemetery account, 18s 3d in credit; gas works loan account, ,£663 12s gd in credit. The separate accounts iu credit are ; Gas works loan account, 8s iod; iuteiest account, ,£l5O 19s yd ; gas works account, £73 5 s 9d ; reserves account, ,£24 los 4d. Those overdrawn are ; General account, 2s ; library account, 4s ; cemetery account, £1 is id; sanitation account, £64 12s 4d.
