THE ECLIPSE.

Sydney, April 30. I Clouds largely spoiled the view of the Government solar eclipse party, stationed at Bermagui. The sun was hidden from the time of its rising to twenty minutes after the termination of the computed total phase. The party’s long vigil was partially compensated by the magnificent cloud effects, excellent photographs of which were obtained. As the eclipse proceeded the thermometer fell irom 56 degrees to 50.
