Wright, scored two wins at the Palmerston races yesterday, Stevens winning the Linton Hack Handicap and The Rover accounting for the Longburn Handicap. Stevens is the latest addition to the stable, Mr Wright having purchased him some few weeks back. It is understood the price was ,£roo. Stevens has so far only made two appearances in his new owner’s colours, running second at the recent Masterton meeting on the first occasion.
