CRICKET.
A return match between Eoxtou and Moutoa schools was played at Mouloa last Saturday. In the first game, played at Eoxtou, Moutoa boys were victorious, but on Saturday Eoxtou won by thirteen runs. The game was played on a concrete pitch, with a stubble outfield. This chiefly accounts lor the smallness of the scores, the ball travelling a very short distance if kept low. The fielding of both teams was excellent. The Eoxtou boys were hospitably entertained and spent a pleasant day. Following are the scores : Foxton Ist Innings. F. Hadfield, c A. Nimmo, b Edwards 0 R.
