Keomoud, leader of the Irish Parliamentary party, in an article in Reynolds Newspaper, cites the granting of autonomy to Alsace- Lorraine, and the existence of Germany’s twenty-five autonomous States, and adds : Our own colonial experience, especially the latest instance in South Africa, has convinced me that the time is near when the successful working of Home Rule in Ireland will be taken as a matter of course.”
