EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE.
A very successful euchre party aud dance was held in the Masonic Hall last night under the auspices of the local Catholic Church. The lady's prize was won by Mrs Hudson, senr., and the gent’s by Mr C. .Smith. The “ booby ” prizes were won by Mrs Berthold and Master R. Hines. The dance music was supplied by Mr F. C. Berthold, and Mr S. Hudson officiated as M.C. An extra was kindly contributed by Miss B. Small, and a song rendered by Mrs Huggan. Refreshments were supplied in abundance. Mr W. Spelman carried out the duties ol secretary to the satisfaction of all, while Mesdames Hooker and Huggan were responsible for the general organisation.
