HEMP MARKET. The High Commissioner cabled to us at noon yesterday as follows : The hemp market is steady. Not much demand, but prices are firm. Good fair, ; fair. £ig ss; Manila, ,£l9 10s. Forward shipment: Good fair, ,£2O 7s 6d ; fair, 10s; Manila, ,£2O. Manila output, 32,000 bales. Stock of New Zealand hemp, 458 tons.
