IMPERIAL CONFERENCE.
London, Feb. 28. In the House of Commons, Mr Asquith, replying to questions, said the Imperial Conference, being between members of the Home and overseas Governments, it would be contrary to precedent to invite leaders of the Opposition, Labour, and Nationalists parties to attend the initial ceremonies. He added that the Conference would decide whether to admit the press to non-confidence discussions.
