THE MASTERTON TRAGEDY.
Masterton, Feb. 21. At the inquest on the body of Kate Adele Gardiner, held this afternoon before the District Coroner, Mr J. T. M. Hornsby, a verdict of suicide while insane was returned. The child victims cf the tragedy are still in a criticaly condition, and little hope is he' 1 o;t for the recovery of the girl. [Details of the tragedy appear on the fourth page of this issue.]
