FLOODS IN SCOTLAND.
London, February iy. There have been serious floods in Glasgow owing to persistent rains. The river Clyc 2 overflowed, causing tramways I j be suspended. Trains are running with difficulty. Three rivers in the Irvine district of Ayrshire overflowed, flooding pits and houses and imprisoning many inhabitants. A great many sheep have been drowned and tracts of country are underwater.
