BOWLING.

The ladies made a most successful debut ou the bowling green yesterday afternoon. Sides were chosen by Messrs Mairs and Witchell, who acted as their respective skips. During the game some very fine shots were played, and it is quite evident the male members of the Club will have to look to their laurels. The scores were as follows : Mrs Adams Mrs Witchell Miss Speirs Miss B. Speirs Miss Slattery Mrs C. Robinson Mr Mairs (s) 10 Mr Witchell (s) 8 The Club was pleased to welcome the ladies ou the greeUj and hopes to see more playing in the near future. Any wishing to join are requested to kindly notify the secretary.
