BOROUGH TREASURER’S REPORT.
The following is the Borough Treasurer’s report submitted at last night’s Council meeting Since my last monthly report I have paid into the district fund account the sum of £306 18s, and, into the cemetery account £2 10s. The bank balances to-day were as follows -.—District fund account, is id at debit; cemetery account, 2s 6J at credit; gas works loan account, £1775 3 s 2 d at credit. The separate accounts in credit are ; Gas works account, as 2d ; sanitation account, 14s 8d ; cemetery account, £1 8s 3d ; interest account, £Xi 2s 2d. Those overdrawn are: General account, /155 9s yd ; library account, £l6 2s Sd ; reserves account, ,£l3 1 2S. 1 have to report that I have again, and for the ninth year in succession, collected all the rates,
