DIVORCE.
A divorce action was concluded in the Palmerston North Supreme Couit on Thursday, which has engaged the attention of Mr Justice Cooper -’ud a jury during a period of three days. The petitioner was Charles Loudon, Opoua, farmer, lor whom Mr T. M. Wilford appeared. The respondent, Catherine Loudon, wife of the petitioner, was represented by Mr H. Cooper. F'raucis London, brother of the petitioner, for whom Mr J. P. lunes appeared, was named as co-respondent. Petitioner claimed ,£5Ol damages. The jury gave their verdict for the petitioner and granted the divorce, with costs on the highest scale and ,£4OO damages.
