SMART COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. PERTH, January 10. At the resumed inquest on the remains found near Hoskins’ foundry, and which are supposed to be those of Ethel Harris, who up to April last lived with Alfred Wilson Smart, now charged with the murder of Harris, Mrs Harris, the mother of the woman, identified a dental plate produced as having belonged to her daughter. Other articles found were also identified. PERTH, January n. A dressmaker identified the clothing found as Miss Harris’s best dress. Witness was speaking to deceased a few days prior to her disappearance, when she intimated she had no intention of removing from Perth. Smart has been committed for trial.
