BOWLING.
A very pleasant game was indulged in last Saturday and improved form was shown by several of the bowlers. The following rink has been chosen as probables to represent the local club in the colts tournament at Palmerston N,, on New Year’s Day Messrs Stiles, Hennessy, Woods and Mairs (skip). The following rink will try conclusions with the above rink on Wednesday next Messrs Rimmer, Clemett. Walker and Witchell (skip). Nominations for the Witchell Bowls Competition close on the 30th inst. All entries must be accompanied with a fee of is. The competition is for drawing the jack. All members who have not yet paid their annual subscription are reminded that the entrance fee of ios 6d will be added after the 30th inst.
