TOWN CLERK’S REPORT.
At last night’s Council meeting the Town Clerk’s report was read and adopted, and is as follows : “During past month the men have been engaged in cleaning the water tables in Main Street, Avenue Road, Clyde Street, and Union Street, the Triangle has been mowed, weeded and planted, the windmill has been seen to and oiled. Screened limestone has been placed on Wharf Street footpaths, Avenue foothpath, and Whyte Street crossing in Main Street. The lootpaths in Avenue and Wharf Street now are nearly ready for tarring. Holes in Wharf and Harbour Street have been filled in. The Purcell Street surface water drain has now been completed with rain cement pipes rrom drain across road to river bank,’’
