POST OFFICE AT THE HEADS.

Mr W. H. Field M.P. for Otakl, has received the following letter from the Postmaster-General, Sir J. G. Ward . “I have the honour to inform you that authority has been given for a post office to be opened at Manawatu Heads, in charge of Mrs Lawton, the wife of the Pilot. The mail service will be daily in summer and thrice-weekly in winter.”
