The Premier and the Hon. Dr. Findlay will represent New Zealand at the Coronation of George V. Mr Massey says that for private reasons he finds it impossible for him to visit England, but he wished it understood that his decision was not due to any desire to be discourteous to the Imperial authorities.

The Premier stated in the House on Saturday, that Dr. Findlay’s services would be required while in England in connection with two important cases, namely, the Te Akau case, involving ,£50,000 and the Ulster claim, upon which it hid been decided to set up a tribunal. The amount involved, so tar as New Zealand was concerned, was half a million. The tribunal would sit either in England or America at an early date. In addition to attending to these legal cases, Dr. Findlay was also invited to attend the Imperial Conference, and take part in the proceedings. The ordinary meeting of the Moutoa School Committee was held last night. It was decided to hold the annual picnic in Dr. Wall’s paddock on February 3rd.
